Deadlines

Storyboard to be done and put on YouTube by Wednesday 20th October evening - (Naomi)

Final Script to be done and put on YouTube by Tuesday 19th October evening- (Genie)

These important deadlines have not been meant by Naomi and Genie, this is having an effect on how long it is taking us to film because without the script we do not know exactly what we need to film and without the storyboard it is uncertain at times what camera shoot we are meant to be producing.

The Prop list

The Letter

We chose to use a letter to signify the time where we are filming a 1960s scene and in that era sending letters was the most common use of communication. Also we chose to have the artist's name on the letter to introduce the artist in which the letter is shown at the start.

The Laptop

We chose to use a laptop to signify the change in time where the laptop is expressing a change to the 1980s from the letter where sending emails started to become common in the 1980s. Also chose to place coloured squares on top on the laptop allows the laptop to look more retro.

Postman bag

We are using this postman bag to expresses that the man on the bike is a postman to the viewers so that the meaning will be clearer as well. Where it also having the top British post brand the Royal mail on the bag is a strong indication that the actor is a postman

The Wig

We are using the wig to signify that the character wearing it is acting out a 1960s scene. In which long hair it this wig was common in the 1960s and in the music business where also the the women in the original Mr. Postman song have long hair.

Dear: Receptionist

I am writing to ask if we can use the schools Royal mail Postman bags for our media coursework because we are doing a Postman scene.

We are filming this scene on Friday 8th October so if we can use the bag it would be very much appreciate and would help use a lot for our coursework

Regards

Jordan Adeyemi

Dear Ms Ferdinand

We here at reception are very happy to help out the media students with any Royal Mail stationary that they need for their studies.

They have been very polite & courteous.

The Cast List

The reasons for choosing Genie as a character is because she can represent an 1960s person as well as an 1980s and modern person. Also because Genie does drama her acting skills can be put forward in use.

The reasons for choosing Jordan as a character because we needed someone who would take acting task seriously and would do what was needed.

The reasons for choosing Fede as a character because we needed someone in the body build which looks like they was at war, which is part of the story-line. Also Fede was very keen to help us out and is willing to use his spare time.

Mood Board

This collage has a strong representation to our genre of music, that being the Dubstep genre. In which the collection of images together connotes the rhythm of the song where Dubstep music has a range of 130- 148 beats per minute expressing their is a lot going on in terms of technology being used so in contrasts the collage there is a lot going on but in terms of how Dubstep music can be signified as.
Also though the mood board expresses the happiness people have listening to dubstep, the bright colours connoting this thought.
