Locations

We choose the schools main hall to stage our party scene as it had coloured lighting in the hall which strongly conventional in parties and in the our researched music video for example in the 'I need air' and 'Ghost n stuff' songs. also because it as a great amount of space to consume a party crowd.

We choose to use this house as one of our locations as it can be seen to look 1960s and 1980s like as we seek to convey a transformation in time. But also this location is convenient as we have to bring heavy equipment from school to the location in school hours, and as the location is not far from school it seems a good location to film footage.

We choose the schools toilets to film footage as it was a convenient location with a good pathway outside the toilets. But we also used a toilet as a location as we felt it was a good place to indicate that their is a change in time as the audience will be focusing on her appearance, and most significantly the change in her appearance as she will be looking at a mirror.

Criticisms of Round 1 of the Party scene

- The camera work is shakey
- The dancers were not dancing together so it did not look crowded
- We did not get a variety of camera shots
- We did not get the dancers under control
- People changed the music whilst we were filming

Party Scene Round 2

Proposal

Ask media, film studies students and the actors in the schools production to act in our party scene because they are more likely to listen and take it more seriously because will understand the seriousness of filming and acting.

Ask the lighting technician if can do the lighting again for us and for him to not let anyone to change the music apart from Jordan, Genie and Naomi.

Just before we film it outline to them what we actually want them to do and also position them if necessary. Mark a circle ion the stage in which I want them to stay within so it continually looks crowded and looks a club scene.

Do rehearsal before final filming so they can get to terms to what they are doing and get use to
dancing to Dubstep music, if they haven’t before.

With the camera work we are going to use a variety of camera shots and also in a way so that the projector screen is shown rarely.
